West Coast Scrapbook Layout & Handmade Card Contest
Contest Details:
The theme for the layout contest is ``Family``. Handmade cards may be of any theme. Two entries per category are permitted. Fifteen finalists will be selected for each category and their creations will be on display at the 3rd Annual Surrey Scrapbook Fair at Sullivan Community Centre in Surrey on September 20th, 2009 from 11am-4pm. All visitors to the Scrapbook Fair will be given one ballot to vote on their favorite layout and card. Voting will take place between 11am - 2:00pm. The winner will be announced at 3:30pm the day of the fair. FIRST PRIZE FOR THE LAYOUT CONTEST IS $100 CASH!

Submission Deadline is September 8th, 2009
Official Rules:
Finalists must have the original copy of the submission to us by Sept. 15th, 2009. You may submit 2 entries per category (categories are "Scrapbook Layout" which must follow the "Family" theme and "Hand Made Card" which does not have a theme.) If you are mailing your submission you must also arrange for pick up of your submission before September 27th, 2009. We will not keep any after this date.
Finalists will be notified by the email or phone number provided.
For the layout contest the pages must be a minimum of 6x6 and maximum of 12x12.
All submissions must be original designs.
There will be 15 finalists selected for each contest. (scrapbook layout and handmade card) The layouts of the finalists will be on display at the 3rd Annual Surrey Scrapbook Fair. All visitors between 11am-2pm will be given one ballot to vote on their favorite layout and card and the winner will be announced at 3:30pm the day of the fair. Winners will be contacted via phone or email if they are unable to attend the Scrapbook Fair.
Prizes for layout contest:
1st prize - $100 cash!
2nd prize - Gift basket of scrapbook supplies
3rd prize - Gift basket of scrapbook supplies
Prizes for handmade card contest:
1st prize - $40
2nd prize - gift basket of cardmaking supplies
3rd prize - gift basket of cardmaking supplies
Eligibility:
NO purchase necessary to win
Must be 18 years of age or older
We will be collecting to support the Surrey Food Bank again this year. Admission is $2 OR $1 plus one donation of a canned good. Proceeds will be donated to the Surrey Food Bank.
